What can you do about that?
Well:
1. Do not visit
my web site when you are nervous and consequently impatient.
Have a good
night's sleep, a hot bath or a cold shower, a little yoga of some sort,
some Zen or other meditation, some terrific good sex, a good laugh or a
good meal, whatever helps you to be more laid back regarding those threatening
digital and virtual jungles... :-)
2. Once a week send an e-mail prayer to whatever Goddess(es) or God(s) is/are yours that I may find the time and gusto to optimize my pages. I always have more urgent priorities than that.
3. Be prepared for your next financial windfall. Use it for the following: have your computer better configured and better tuned, maybe by an expensive expert, or buy even a newer more powerful one, you also could switch from Windows to Linux, or from Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator/Communicator to the OPERA browser. You could use software like WebWasher - but not on my site please! :-)
4. Change your ISP (Internet Service Provider - your access provider) or at least choose a better package among its offerings. But only after having tried all days of the week and all hours of the day (not necessarily all weeks of the year!) to see if there are enough convenient moments for you where neither your provider has an overload of users nor my web site an overload of visitors (how nice this would be!) nor there is a traffic jam on the Internet caused by spammers, cybersex video streams, or the NSA! A good proxy server could also speed things up. As would ISDN or DSL and similar if you can get it.
