On January 16, 2002, Northern Light Discontinued Free Public Access To Northernlight.com's Web Search Engine !
Whether I will be able to offer this search possibility on my web site after that date
is not decided yet.
In case it cannot be arranged, I will offer one or more other top
search engines as a replacement.
At the moment (March 28, 2004), when you click SEARCH above, you get onto their "Whoops Page" announcing that the Northern Light Web search engine is planned to be brought back early next year, which probably means this year, not 2005. Let us hope!
As an individual, you can continue to use for free several of their other great services and search their data bases, only the download of the found documents costs a little, that's what they said on January 14, 2002. Though I had used some of those myself after the web search engine had become inaccessible, I cannot find them now. But you will reach their home page and their various offerings, as they are now, also via that "Whoops Page". Sic transit gloria mundi, disappeared like the ship...
