Why this silence in this blog (and elsewhere on the site, except for JDM's weekly column) for a good month? Since several weeks I mostly have no Internet connection at home. First it had to do with a mistake my provider made during changes to my account, now it is an almost insolvable problem with my PC's hardware and software, with my ISDN card, my ISDN switchboard, cables etc. And it not only costs a lot of nerves, but also of money needed elsewhere. So you know what you have to do. I can be reached by phone (+49-40-37501760) [land line], preferably not by fax [short of toner, not easy and very expensive to get for this model].
