Send in the champagne!

Today it is exactly FIVE YEARS that my main domain, this butterbach.net, is ONLINE. Other domains of mine were online before though, and before being online on the World Wide Web of the Internet, I had already been online with a site on the German videotex, quite a different technique and different rules and standards then...

So, what are you waiting for? Send in the champagne! :-)

And I'll drink to the next five years! When I will be seventy! For those who can calculate: I started this domain at the age of 60, and am 65 now, this month.

But I do not really feel like celebrating or I might have got the idea to prepare a very special anniversary page for you:

Exactly today also is the birthday (7 years apart) of my two closest remaining friends in my home country Luxembourg,
Georges Penning and C. Neal Brady, who both died unexpectedly and much too early within exactly 8 months. They both appreciated champagne though. But that is not a reason to drink. They also appreciated my web activities very much.

As many goodies on these pages are planned and on their way, you will not have to sulk because of the missing anniversary page. Visit often!
