Introductions to this immigration section

On February 27, 2004, when the introductions were posted, each of the following links led to the blog on the home page of one of my presently six websites (with the exception of the Luxemburgish one, where the blog is not on the home page, but on a separate page). To guarantee that those links will work permanently, I replaced them today, May 11, in such a way as to now lead you to the archive of each original post, where the text is the same of course, but unfortunately it does not look as good there as on the original page. Maybe I will be able to change that some day. At this writing though, with the exception of "CB's notewok" on the home page of the portal site [blog now moved to its own page, see next link], they are still to be seen on each original page, though not on top of the page anymore. For your ease, here is a list of links leading to the blogs themselves, not the archives.

The great Free-Market.Net resource of at least
74 links on the subject of immigration
with short descriptions
The above link is temporarily broken. It will be replaced by a new one as soon as all Free-Market.Net files will have been transferred to the ISIL site on a new server, maybe in a couple of weeks. [added April 15, 2005]
The above link will probably remain broken. Though the Free-Market.Net files have been transferred to the ISIL server in the meantime, there is no central immigration section now. I suggest that you go to the ISIL site and enter the search term immigration into the local Google search engine. As per today, you will find 92 links now, mostly in the ISIL site's subdivisions "Intellectual Resources" and "Freedom Network", the latter section presently being in the process of a major overhaul and being constantly updated. Contra Mercer by Wayne Chastain

New!
Ms. Mercer is at it again. See this blog post in her "Barely A Blog" and the several following ones with their comments.

A quote from Wendy McElroy: "IMO, it's a good thing that these "illegal" immigrants are bringing fresh vigor, inspiration, and innovation into a stagnating U.S. --- in spite of every quixotic attempt by the fat and complacent majority and the xenophobicly paranoid minority to "shut down the borders" and keep them out... On Immigration: Take Our Freedoms, Please!
By Jonathan David Morris

New!
Some great liberty-minded people do more than discussing the pros and cons of this artifically created issue of immigration, in particular along the US Mexican border (and those luminaries among the conservatives who have a particular knack of erring here with bravery, are, as the name tells, preferring the cons...), they act, positively, without waiting for the elusive result of the discussion, for instance the founders of the new website MARSOUND in Santa Fe, New Mexico:
"Build Bridges Not Walls!"
NB: One of the founders, writer and economic adviser Ricardo Valenzuela, is scheduled to speak at this year's Freedom Summit (pending final confirmation in the next few days).
